Green ammonia production at Fjord Base

North Ammonia AS and Fjord Base Holding AS have joined forces for the develpoment of a green ammonia production facility with focus on development of required infrastructure, grid connection, permitting and early phase project development for a potential facility at Fjord Base.

North Ammonia AS and Fjord Base Holding AS entered into a Letter of Intent in 2022 to evaluate the opportunity of establishing a green ammonia production facility at Fjord Base. in 2024, the project was assessed as mature by regional and state grid operator and the project is now actively engaged towards securing grid capacity while further developing the project.
